Acrylamide crystal is a solid form of acrylamide (AM), the chemical molecular formula is C₃H₅NO, molecular weight 71.08, is a white crystalline powder or crystal, easily soluble in water, ethanol, acetone and other polar solvents, slightly soluble in benzene, Toxic (IARC classified as Class 2A probable carcinogen). The molecule contains double bonds (-CH=CH₂) and amide group (-CONH₂), and is prone to homopolymer or copolymerization reaction.
